• View of Glyder Fawr Snowdonia Snowdonia
The mountains of Snowdonia provide exceptional
    opportunities for photography.

This picture was taken climbing the "Glyders"
from Llyn Ogwen on the A5 near Capel Curig.

The challenging climb is rewarded with
great views across to Snowdon and Anglesey.

A more moderate walk would be to circle
Llyn Idwal from the same location.
  • Further Afield
Sea-watching off Depot Bay on the Oregon Coast.

This time our patience was rewarded with close-up
views of the resident Grey Whales.

Closer to home, St David's Head in Pembrokeshire
is a great place to see dolphins, porpoises and,
if you are very lucky, whales.
  • Nature Reserves
This picture is taken at Fenn's, Whixall and
    Bettisfield Mosses NNR.

Nature Reserves are a wonderful place to see a
    wide range of wildlife.

Our favourites include Ynys-hir, near Machynlleth
    and Penderi Cliffs, near Aberystwyth.
  • Down on the Farm
We do our best to try to support the wildlife
on our smallholding in Mid Wales, particularly
when the weather is like this!

Our Welsh Sheepdogs don't always help
    with the photography!

Welcome To WildOutWalking

We aim to take great photographs of wildlife, domestic animals and landscapes whilst enjoying walks or bike-rides in the British countryside and occasionally overseas. Where possible, we provide details of where photographs were taken so that you may, if you wish, visit these areas to experience them for yourself.

Wildoutwalking is inspired by a love of nature and of photography. We strive to support wildlife on our smallholding in Mid Wales and do everything we can to ensure that we do not disturb the wildlife we are photographing. You will see that our pictures show animals behaving totally naturally. It is important to us that we do not harm their chances of survival in any way.

You can purchase greetings cards of our photographs for delivery in the UK, on the store page. Alternatively if you would like permission to use any of our pictures, please contact us.
